Miss Honduras Universo 2024 Stephanie Cam was born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Her father is of Peruvian and Chinese descent while her mother is of Honduran and Irish descent.
On August 22, 2024, Cam represented San Pedro Sula at Miss Honduras Universe 2024 at the Centro de Convenciones Copantl in San Pedro Sula. She competed against 17 other candidates and won the title.
Miss Honduras Universo 2025
On July 10, 2025, Cam will crown her successor at Club Hondureño Árabe in San Pedro Sula. Canal 11 will broadcast the coronation ceremony, which marks the 18th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Honduras’s Miss Universe candidate.

Currently, Honduras has one Miss Universe placement. On July 22, 1955, Pastora Pagán Valenzuela represented the country at Miss Universe 1955, competed against 32 other candidates at the Long Beach Municipal Auditorium in Long Beach, California, United States and finished in the Top 15.
Honduras was represented in Miss Universe by Miss Honduras from 1954 to 1955 and Señorita Honduras from 1967 to 1974, from 1976 to 1994 and from 1996 to 2002. The country did not participate in the competition from 1956 to 1966, in 1975, in 1995 and from 2003 to 2006.
Since 2007, Carlos Rivera has been the national director of Miss Honduras Universo. The inaugural edition of the national beauty pageant was held that year.
