Ana Gabriela Villanueva Jolón is the reigning Miss Universe Guatemala 2024. She is from Santa Cruz Naranjo, Santa Rosa, Guatemala.
Miss Universe Guatemala 2025
On July 12, 2025, Villanueva will crown her successor at the Centro de Ferias y Mercados de Quetzaltenango (CEFEMERQ) in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. It is the 54th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the country’s Miss Universe candidate.
Guatemala currently has three Miss Universe placements. These are the Top 10 finishes of Ilma Juieta Urrutia Chang and Jessica Maria Scheel Noyola in 1984 and 2010, respectively, and the Top 15 finish of María del Rosario Molina Chacón in 1955.
A total of 24 women are competing for the Miss Universe Guatemala 2025 crown. If facial beauty is the only criterion, these will be my Top 5 candidates:

On July 7, 2024, Villanueva represented Santa Rosa at Miss Universe Guatemala 2024 and competed against 22 other candidates at the Centro Cultural Cesar Brañas in Antigua, Guatemala. She was runner-up to Mónica Andrea Aguilar Radford while Zoochiel Dubon, Ximena Carrillo, Melissa Morales and Debbie Ruiz were the respective second, third, fourth and fifth runners-up.
On August 25, 2024, Radford announced her pregnancy and gave up the Miss Universe Guatemala 2024 title, which was given to Villanueva. Carrillo became the new first runner-up and was appointed Miss Cosmo Guatemala 2024.
On October 5, 2024, Carrillo represented Guatemala at Miss Cosmo 2024 and competed against 55 other candidates at the Saigon Riverside Park in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She finished in the Top 21.
On November 16, 2024, Villanueva represented Guatemala at Miss Universe 2024 and competed against 124 other candidates at the Arena Cuidad de Mexico in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City. She was unplaced.
