“Fast X“, the 10th main installment in the “Fast & Furious” film franchise, had its world premiere at the Colosseum in Rome, Italy on May 12, 2023. Universal Pictures released it in the United States on May 19, 2023.
The sequel titled “Fast X: Part 2” is currently in the works. It will be released in April 2027, according to Vin Diesel.

“Fast X” director Louis Leterrier is directing “Fast X: Part 2”. He directed nine episodes of “Tycoon” in 2017, 10 episodes of “The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance” in 2019 and three episodes of “Lupin” in 2021.
Dan Mazeau, Justin Lin and Zach Dean wrote the “Fast X” screenplay. Its sequel was written by Christina Hodson and Oren Uziel.
Uziel, Dana Fox and Adam Nee wrote the 2022 film “The Lost City”, which starred Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum and Daniel Radcliffe. Hodson wrote the 2023 film “The Flash”, which starred Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton and Sasha Calle.
