Paige was an alumna of Hillcrest High School in Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal. She matriculated in 2022.

As a stewardess, Paige worked as a crew member of the Motor Yacht Sweet Emocean, a 35-meter charter yacht built in 2006. Her employment there ended in December 2024 and she later became a member of the Far From It superyacht crew.

The Hillcrest High School alumna was supposed to turn 21 on July 14, 2025 but just after 1:00 p.m. on July 3, 2025, she was found unresponsive in the engine room of the Far From It superyacht while it was docked at Harbour Island, Bahamas. Also in the engine room was her fellow crew member Brigido Muñoz, 39, an engineer from Mexico.

According to the Royal Bahamas Police Force, Muñoz suffered from severe injuries to his arms after trying to end his own life. He was treated in a clinic while Bell was pronounced dead.

Muñoz is accused of killing Bell. She had defensive injuries to her arms and slash wounds to her neck.

On July 9, 2025, Muñoz appeared before magistrates in Nassau, Bahamas. He was not required to enter a plea.

Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley denied Muñoz bail. The Bahamian magistrate remanded the Mexican engineer, who was charged with murder.

On November 20, 2025, Muñoz will be back in court to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers. He has yet to release a statement about Paige’s death.
