Logan Wayne Hart, 20, of Jefferson, Jackson County, Georgia, United States is currently in jail. He is accused of severely burning his infant son.

On June 27, 2025, the infant suffered burn injuries to his foot while in Hart’s care in Flowery Branch, Hall County, Georgia. The baby also had a burn on his hand.

According to authorities, the burns on the child were consistent with the foot being submerged in boiling liquid. The Georgia Division of Family and Child Services (DFCS) contacted the the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) in reference to the burns.

The DCFS is based in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia while the HCSO is based in Gainesville, Hall County. Atlanta is around 54 miles away from Gainesville, which is home to the Hall County Jail.

Gainesville is the county seat of Hall County. The city is around 27 miles away from Winder, Barrow County, Georgia, which is home to Winder-Barrow High School.

On July 8, 2025, Hart was arrested in Barrow County and transported to the Hall County Jail. He was charged with child cruelty in the first degree.

This is not Hart’s first arrest. On June 25, 2024, he was arrested in Georgia for second-degree criminal damage to property and third-degree arson.

Also booked into the Hall County Jail were Dongha Lee, 18, Eduardo Abinadab Landino, 27, and Reed Cohen Skelton, 26. Lee was accused of school trespassing.

On March 5, 2025, HCSO deputies took Lee into custody at a residence in Flowery Branch. On March 11, 2025, Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents arrested Skelton, who was later indicted on charges of human trafficking and sexual exploitation of children.

On May 6, 2025, Landino was arrested during a traffic stop near his residence in Gainesville. He was charged with enticing a child for indecent purposes and grooming a child for indecent purposes.
