Kimberly Tetabwa Tokanang Aromata of Beru Island, Kiribati represented Bakirita Enterprise at Miss Kiribati 2024 and competed against five other candidates at the Betio Sports Complex in Betio, South Tarawa, Kiribati on July 10, 2024.
On July 10, 2025, Tokanang went back to the Betio Sports Complex where she crowned her successor Atiterentaai Rinimarawa, who was born and raised on Kiritimati, Kiribati. The latter will represent the country at Miss Micronesia 2025 and Miss Pacific Islands 2026.
Rinimawa earned a bachelor’s degree in social work and tourism management from The University of the South Pacific in Suva, Fiji. She enjoys weaving, singing and dancing.

Kimberly Tokanang
From 2018 to 2023, Tokanang attended Brigham Young University-Hawaii in Lāiʻe, Hawaii, United States. In April 2024, she joined Disability Rights Fund in Kiribati as a project officer.
On February 8, 2025, Tokanang represented Kiribati at Miss Pacific Islands 2026 and competed against seven other candidates at the Friendship Hall in Honiara, Solomon Islands. She was unplaced.
