Noura Raïssa Njikam was born in Douala, Littoral Regional, Cameroon. On June 28, 2024, she competed against 25 other Miss Cameroon 2024 candidates at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex in Yaoundé, Cameroon and won the title.

On July 12, 2025, Njikam’s successor Harangada Golonga Josiane was crowned at the Palais des Congrès in Yaoundé by Chantal Biya, the wife of Cameroon’s second president Paul Biya. On November 21, 2025, Golonga will represent Cameroon at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand.

Cameroon currently has one Miss Universe placement. It was achieved by Ndoun Issie Marie Princesse when she finished in the Top 20 in 2023.
