Jenelle Thongs Andrews is Derron Stephen Andrews‘s wife. She is the first married woman to represent Trinidad and Tobago in Miss Universe.
On August 4, 2024, Jenelle competed against 10 other Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago 2024 candidates at Queen’s Hall in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. She won the title.
On July 20, 2025, Jenelle went back to Queens Hall in Port of Spain where she crowned her successor Dr. Sihlé Letren. On November 21, 2025, the latter will represent Trinidad and Tobago at Miss Universe 2025 at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand.

Trinidad and Tobago was represented in Miss Universe by Miss Trinidad in 1963 and 1964, Miss Trinidad and Tobago in 1966 and Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago from 1971 to 2024. Stephen Jones has been the chief executive officer of Crowns and Sashes Academy T&T since July 2019 and the national director of Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago since 2022.
Currently, Trinidad and Tobago has nine Miss Universe placements including the coronation of Janelle Commissiong in 1977 and Wendy Fitzwilliam in 1998. The most recent one was in the 2022 edition where Tya Jané Ramey finished in the Top 16.
