Christina de la Cruz Chalk is an alumna of Dunblane High School in Dunblane, Stirling, Scotland, Great Britain, United Kingdom and University of Glasgow in Glasgow, Scotland. She was born in Dunblane to a Scottish father named Steven Chalk and a Filipino mother named Demy de la Cruz Chalk.

On July 7, 2024, Christina represented Dunblane at Miss Universe Great Britain 2024 and competed against 41 other candidates at The Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre in Newport, Wales, U.K. She won the title.

Miss Universe Great Britain 2025 candidates

On July 26, 2025, Christina will crown her successor at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, Wales. It is the 17th edition of the beauty pageant that selects Great Britain’s Miss Universe candidate.

In Miss Universe, only England participated in 1952 and from 1955 to 1960. England, Scotland and Wales were individually represented from 1961 to 1990.

England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland were represented in Miss Universe by one candidate known as Miss United Kingdom in 1991 and Miss British Isles in 1992. England, Scotland and Wales were represented in Miss Universe by one candidate known as Miss Great Britain from 1993 to 2000 and from 2009 to 2021.

Currently, Great Britain has five Miss Universe placements. The most recent one was in 2021 when Emma Collingridge finished in the Top 16.

On November 16, 2024, Christina represented Great Britain at Miss Universe 2024 and competed against 124 other candidates at the Arena Ciudad de México (Arena CDMX) in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico. She was unplaced.
