Mario El Hajj is an alumnus of Notre Dame Des Apotres in Beirut, Lebanon. From 2014 to 2017, he attended the Arts, Sciences and Technology University in Lebanon (AUL) in Beirut where he earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and business management.
While employed as the manager of a branch of a fuel company, El Hajj competed against 14 other Mister Lebanon 2024 candidates at the Casino du Liban in Jounieh, Keserwan, Keserwan-Jbeil, Lebanon on January 9, 2024. He won the title.
Runner-up to El Hajj was Abd El Waab Semaan. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Peter Bouery, Alaa Saadieh and Mohamad Awada.
Mister Lebanon 2025 contestants
On July 30, 2025, El Hajj will go back to the Casino du Liban to crown his successor. It is the 24th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Lebanon’s Mister World, Mister International, Mister Supranational, Mister Grand International and Manhunt International candidates.
Miss World Lebanon 2006 Annabella Hilal will host the coronation ceremony, which will be aired on MTV Lebanon, while Cybelle Bou Chaaya, Ghada Eis, Jean Bou Doumit, Leila Kanaan, Dr. Marcel Zalaquett, Nadine Nassib Njeim, Dr. Michel Helou, Dr. Raed Lattouf, Rami Salamon and Dr. Zaid Samkari will join the panel of judges. The show will feature a performance by Nawal El Zoghbi.

Currently, Lebanon has three Mister International crowns, which were won by Wissam Hanna in 2006, Ali Hammoud in 2012 and Paul Iskandar in 2016. The country also has one Mister Grand International crown, which was won by Seif Al Walid Harb in 2023.
