Rhea Singha of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India competed against 50 other Miss Universe India 2024 candidates at the Zee Studios in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. She won the title.
Runner-up to Singha was Pranjal Priya of Maharashtra. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Chhavi Verg of New Jersey, United States’ Indian community, Sushmita Roy of West Bengal and Ruopfüzhano Whiso of Nagaland.
Miss Universe India 2025
On August 18, 2025, Singha will go back to Jaipur to crown her successor. It is the second edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the country’s Miss Universe candidate.
Ghazal Gill and Manju Bangalore were originally listed as Miss Universe India 2025 candidates. However, they withdrew from the competition before the sashing ceremony on July 20, 2025.
There are 48 women competing for the crown. If facial beauty is the only criterion, these will be my Top 5 candidates:

Currently, India has 28 Miss Universe placements including the coronation of Sushmita Sen in 1994, Lara Dutta in 2000 and Harnaaz Sandhu in 2021. The country was represented in the international beauty pageant by Miss India in 1952, Femina Miss India from 1964 to 2009, I Am She – Miss Universe India from 2010 to 2012 and Miss Diva from 2013 to 2023.
Based in New Delhi, India, the Glamanand Group became the country’s new franchise holder of Miss Universe in 2024 with Nikhil Anand as the national director. The group also holds the country’s franchise of Miss Charm, Miss Global and Miss Tourism World.
On November 16, 2024, Singha represented India at Miss Universe 2024, competed against 124 other candidates at the Arena Ciudad de México (Arena CDMX) in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City and finished in the Top 30. On December 10, 2024, she turned 20.
