Brenna C. Schaake of Fairbanks, Fairbanks North Star Borough, Alaska, United States competed against seven other Miss Alaska USA 2021 candidates at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel and Spa in Anchorage, Alaska on May 8, 2021. She was unplaced.

On March 19, 2022, Schaake represented Fairbanks at Miss Alaska USA 2022 and competed against five other candidates at Bartlett High School in Anchorage. She was second runner-up to Courtney Schuman.

On June 1, 2024, Schaake represented Fairbanks at Miss Alaska USA 2024 and competed against seven other candidates at the Wendy Williamson Auditorium of the University of Alaska Anchorage in Anchorage. She won the title.

Miss Alaska USA 2025

On August 3, 2025, Schaake will crown her successor at the Recital Hall of the University of Alaska Anchorage. It is the 74th edition of the beauty pageant that selects Alaska’s candidate for Miss USA, which selects the Miss Universe candidate of the U.S.

Miss Alaska USA 2017 Alyssa London will host the coronation ceremony. Miss USA 2022 Morgan Romano will serve as the head judge.

Alaska in Miss USA

Alaska currently has five Miss USA placements, including the second runner-up finish of Patricia Marlin in 1964 and the Top 6 finish of Karin Meyer in 1990. The most recent one was in 2017 when London finished in the Top 10.

On August 4, 2024, Schaake represented Alaska at Miss USA 2024 and competed against 50 other candidates at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California, USA. She was unplaced.
