She was unplaced when she competed against seven other Miss Alaska USA 2021 candidates at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel and Spa in Anchorage on May 8, 2021.
On March 19, 2022, Schaake represented Fairbanks at Miss Alaska USA 2022 and competed against five other candidates at Bartlett High School in Anchorage. She was second runner-up to Courtney Schuman.
On June 1, 2024, Schaake represented Fairbanks at Miss Alaska USA 2024 and competed against seven other candidates at the Wendy Williamson Auditorium of the University of Alaska Anchorage in Anchorage and won the title.
