Ruby Pouchet of Playa Pariba, Kralendijk, Bonaire, Netherlands is an alumna of the University of Houston in Houston, Texas, United States. On December 3, 2022, she represented Playa Pariba at Miss Bonaire 2022, competed against three other finalists at the Courtyard by Marriott Bonaire Dive Resort in Kralendijk and won the title.

On March 9, 2024, Pouchet crowned her successor Miss Bonaire 2024 Angie Daza at the Courtyard by Marriott Bonaire Dive Resort. On May 17, 2024, the former was officially appointed Miss Universe Bonaire 2024.

Miss Universe Bonaire 2025 contestants

On September 15, 2024, Pouchet turned 29. On August 16, 2025, she will crown her successor at the event center of the Delfins Beach Resort Bonaire, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Kralendijk, which marks the inaugural edition of the beauty pageant that selects Bonaire’s Miss Universe crown.

Bonaire was represented in Miss Universe by Miss Bonaire from 1967 to 1969, in 1978, from 1995 to 1999 and in 2022. The island has yet to place in the international beauty pageant.

Two women are competing for the Miss Universe Bonaire 2025 crown. Here are the candidates:

Nicole Visser Peiliker

Nicole Visser Peiliker, 41, married Jonathan Peiliker in April 2009. They have three daughters and one son together.

On August 25, 2010, Nicole turned 27. On the same day, she gave birth to Alexa Krysta Leilani Peiliker.

On September 21, 2014, Nicole gave birth to her third daughter Aria Sienna Faith Peiliker. In December 2024, Aria became the inaugural titleholder of Mini Miss Bonaire.

I-Shilah Benita

I-Shilah Benita, 25, of Nieuw Amsterdam, Bonaire competed against six other Miss Teen Bonaire 2022 candidates at Club Soho Bonaire in Kralendijk. She finished in the Top 5.

On October 20, 2023, Benita represented Bonaire at Miss Petite Belleza Marina 2023 and competed against four other candidates in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. She won the title.
