Rhea Singha of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India competed against 50 other Miss Universe India 2024 candidates at the Zee Studios in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India and won the title. On December 10, 2024, she turned 20.
Miss Universe India 2025 contestants
On August 18, 2025, Singha will go back to Jaipur to crown her successor. It is the second edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the country’s Miss Universe candidate.
Currently, India has 28 Miss Universe placements including the coronation of Sushmita Sen in 1994, Lara Dutta in 2000 and Harnaaz Sandhu in 2021. The country was represented in the international beauty pageant by Miss India in 1952, Femina Miss India from 1964 to 2009, I Am She – Miss Universe India from 2010 to 2012 and Miss Diva from 2013 to 2023.
