49 Miss New York Teen USA 2025 candidates competing in Albany

Valarie Goorahoo of Valley Stream, Nassau County, Long Island, New York, United States competed against 67 other Miss New York Teen USA 2022 candidates at the Seneca Niagara Resort and Casino in Niagara Falls, New York on June 4, 2022. She was second runner-up to Mahdiya Chowdhury.

On June 30, 2024, Goorahoo competed against 40 other Miss New York Teen USA 2024 candidates at the Hilton Albany in Albany, New York and won the title. The respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Elisa Akin, Vegas Turner, Isabelle Oommen and Emily Hall.

On August 17, 2025, Goorahoo will go back to the Hilton Albany to crown her successor. It is the 41st edition of the beauty pageant that selects New York’s Miss Teen USA candidate.
