Fernanda Gonzalez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She is the oldest of five siblings.

On June 30, 2024, Gonzalez competed against 17 other Miss New Mexico Teen USA 2024 candidates at the Center for the Arts of New Mexico State University and won the title. The respective first, second, third, fourth and fifth runners-up were Ava Kincaid of Picacho, Morgan Buhler of Alamogordo, Belle Floren of Santa Teresa, Brooke Freilino of Organ Mountain and Natalie Vigil of Clayton.

Miss New Mexico Teen USA 2025 predictions

On August 17, 2025, Gonzalez will go back to the Center for the Arts of New Mexico State University to crown her successor. It is the 41st edition of the beauty pageant that selects New Mexico’s Miss Teen USA candidate.

Currently, New Mexico has six Miss Teen USA placements. These include the Top 10 finish of Cheryl Douds in 1984, Carolee Hanson in 1986, Jill Vasquez in 1988 and Brittany Toll in 2005.

On August 24, 2007, Elizabeth Kranz represented New Mexico at Miss Teen USA 2007 and competed against 50 other candidates at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California, USA and finished in the Top 15. On July 28, 2012, Jacqueline Cai represented New Mexico at Miss Teen USA 2012 and competed against 50 other candidates at the Grand Ballroom on the Atlantis Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas and finished in the Top 16.
