Marizza Delgado was born in San Jose, California, United States to Filipino parents. In 2021, she moved to New York, USA to pursue a career in fashion and data science.
On June 30, 2024, Delgado competed against 169 other Miss New York USA 2024 at the Hilton Albany in Albany, New York and won the title. On October 20, 2024, she turned 26.
On August 17, 2025, Delgado went back to the Hilton Albany where she crowned her successor Christiana DiNardo. The latter will represent New York at Miss USA 2025.
