2024 winner
On April 11, 2024, Murphy was appointed Mister New York USA 2024. On August 31, 2024, he represented New York at Mister USA 2024, competed against 19 other finalists at the Crystal Ballroom of Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles and won the title.
Runner-up to Murphy was Florida’s Daryn Alexander. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Utah’s Josef O’Briend, New Mexico’s Art Naiontek and South Carolina’s Alek Maximus.
On December 22, 2024, Murphy represented the U.S. at Mister Universe 2024 and competed against 12 other candidates at the Fonda Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles. He was runner-up to Patrick Callahan of Ireland.
2025 candidates
On August 30, 2025, Murphy will crown his successor at the Montalban Theater in Hollywood. The successor will represent the U.S. at Mister Universe 2025.
