Ariana Blaize is a resident of Georgetown, Guyana and Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia, United States. Her mother Onica Blaize is a certified life coach, a beauty queen and a beauty pageant coach.
From June 2022 to May 2024, Ariana attended Georgia State University in Atlanta where she earned her bachelor’s degree in general studies. On June 15, 2024, she competed against 63 other Miss Georgia USA 2024 candidates at the Henry County Performing Arts Center in McDonough, Henry County, Georgia and finished in the Top 16.
On July 26, 2024, Ariana competed against 10 other Miss Universe Guyana 2024 finalists at the Guyana Marriott Hotel in Georgetown and won the title. On May 22, 2025, she turned 27.
Miss Universe Guyana 2025
On August 24, 2025, Ariana will go back to the Guyana Marriott Hotel in Georgetown to crown her successor. It is the 36th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Guyana’s Miss Universe candidate.
There are nine women competing for the Miss Universe Guyana 2025 crown. If facial beauty is the only criterion, these will be my Top 5 candidates:

Guyana has yet to have a Miss Universe placement. Rosalind Iva Joan Fung became the first Miss Universe candidate to represent the country in 1956 followed by Clyo Fernandez in 1958 and Gloria Blackman in 1963.
In 2023, Teri Brown Walker of APPLY Productions LLC became the new national director of Miss Universe Guyana. That year, Lisa Narine of Pomeroon-Supenaam won the 34th edition of the beauty pageant.
On November 16, 2024, Ariana represented Guyana at Miss Universe 2024 and competed against 124 other candidates at the Arena Ciudad de México (Arena CDMX) in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico. She was unplaced.
