In 2016, Cindy gave birth to Noel Rodriguez Alvarez. His biological father is not Arshdeep.
Cindy is accused of murdering Noel in Everman, Texas. He has never been found and is presumed dead.
Noel was last seen alive around the birth of his twin sisters in October 2022. In November 2022, Cindy applied for passports for all of her children except him.
On March 20, 2023, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services asked the Everman Police Department to conduct a welfare check on Noel. Cindy lied to investigators by telling them during the welfare check that he had been in Mexico with his biological father since November 2022.
On March 22, 2023, Cindy, Arshdeep and six other juvenile children boarded an international flight to India without Noel. On October 31, 2023, she was charged with capital murder in Fort Worth, Texas.
Later, Cindy was also charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. On November 2, 2023, a federal arrest warrant was issued for her in Fort Worth.
On October 3, 2024, an International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) red notice was published for Cindy and submitted to all member countries including India. An extradition packet for her was also submitted at that time.
On January 30, 2025, Singh turned 40. In July 2025, she was included in the the FBI’s list of 10 most wanted fugitives and the bureau offered up to a $250,000 reward for information leading to her arrest and conviction.
On August 20, 2025, Cindy was arrested in India by the FBI in coordination with INTERPOL and Indian authorities. After being transported to the U.S., she will be turned over by the FBI to authorities in Texas.
