Deyounce E. Lowenfield of Tortola, British Virgin Islands is an entrepreneur and a model with an associate’s degree in business administration. She graduated from Elmore Stoutt High school in Road Town, Tortola in 2022 and H. Lavity Stoutt Community College in Paraquita Bay, Parham Town, British Virgin Islands in 2024.
On August 20, 2023, Lowenfield competed against two other Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2023 finalists at the Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium of H. Lavity Stoutt Community College. She and Liliana Rhymer were runners-up to Ashellica Fahie.
On August 11, 2024, Lowenfield competed against two other Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2024 candidates at the Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium of H. Lavity Stoutt Community College and won the title. On September 18, 2024, she turned 20.
Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2025 candidates
On August 24, 2025, Lowenfield will crown her successor at the Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium of H. Lavity Stoutt Community College. It is the fourth edition of the beauty pageant that selects the Miss Universe candidate of the British Virgin Islands.
There are four women competing for the Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2025 crown. Here are the candidates:
- Kimberly A. Herbert, 30
- Olivia Margaret Freeman, 22
- Rebeka Josil, 26
- Rhonda R. Victor-Pinnock, 39
The British Virgin Islands has yet to place in Miss Universe. The British overseas territory made its debut in the international beauty pageant in 1977 and did not participate in the competition in 1978 and from 2003 to 2009.
Between 1977 and 2020, the British Virgin Islands was represented in Miss Universe by Miss British Virgin Islands. In 2021, Miss Universe British Virgin Islands was launched.
Alesia Hamm is the national director of Miss Universe British Virgin Islands. She is affiliated to the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sustainable Development of the British Virgin Islands.
