Currently, Singapore has three Miss Universe placements. Representing the Southeast Asian country, Kathie Lee Lee Beng finished in the Top 12 in 1983, Marion Nicole Teo finished in the Top 10 in 1987 and Nandita Banna finished in the Top 16 in 2021.

Singapore was represented in Miss Universe by the winner of Miss Singapore in 1954, 1958, 1962 and from 1966 to 1979, Miss Singapore Universe from 1980 to 2011 and Miss Universe Singapore from 2012 to 2024. In 2020, Bernadette Belle Ong was appointed as the titleholder because no competition was held amid the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
