A former doctor of pharmacy candidate, Kennedy used to work in retail pharmacy. Her platform is called Beauty Without an Expiration Date.

Kennedy is the first transwoman, the first Asian, the first married woman, the first military spouse and the oldest woman to win Miss Maryland USA. Here are 10 more things about her:
