Ariana Blaize of Georgetown, Guyana competed against 10 other Miss Universe Guyana 2024 finalists at the Guyana Marriott Hotel in Georgetown on July 26, 2024. She won the title.

On August 24, 2025, Blaize went back to the Guyana Marriott Hotel where she crowned her successor Chandini Baljor of Georgetown. On November 21, 2025, the latter will represent Guyana at Miss Universe 2025 at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand.

Guyana has yet to have a Miss Universe placement. Rosalind Iva Joan Fung became the first Miss Universe candidate to represent the country in 1956 followed by Clyo Fernandez in 1958 and Gloria Blackman in 1963.

On November 16, 2024, Ariana represented Guyana at Miss Universe 2024 and competed against 124 other candidates at the Arena Ciudad de México (Arena CDMX) in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico. She was unplaced.
