Juvar Delshaun King Sr. was born in Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio, United States to Darryll Mallory Sr. and Sharon Yolanda King. Juvar’s children Juvar Delshaun King Jr., Javanier King, Ameera King, Amina King and Montana King are all residents of Warren.

Juvar Sr. has three brothers namely Randall Morgan Jr., Sean King and Eddie Morgan III and four sisters namely Ida King, Ebony Morgan, Shannon Morgan and Jalissa Morgan. Darryll Mallory Jr. and Dearia Mallory are Juvar Sr.’s half-siblings.

Juvar King Sr.

For 21 years, Juvar Sr. operated Fore Fathers LLC and Four Kings LLC. He loved classic cars and enjoyed motorcycling.

In 1996, Juvar Sr. graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in Warren. On June 19, 2024, he turned 46.

On February 4, 2025, Juvar Sr. traveled to the vicinity of the residence of Nathaniel Crockett, 28, in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. The vehicle of the former and a vehicle associated with the latter were seen traveling through Cleveland and East Cleveland, Cuyahoga County.

In the evening, Juvar Sr.’s vehicle was found burned in Cleveland. On February 5, 2025, he failed to pick up his daughters and he was reported missing.

On March 17, 2025, Juvar Sr. was found dead outside a residence at the corner of Chapman Avenue and Terrace Road in East Cleveland by East Cleveland Police Department officers. He was fatally shot in the head, according to the medical examiner of Cuyahoga County.

Nathaniel Crockett

Crockett and John Lamar Armstrong, 50, are the suspects in Jurvar Sr.’s murder. How the two suspects are related to the victim is still unclear.

On June 17, 2025, a grand jury in Cuyahoga County indicted Crockett. He was charged with aggravated murder, kidnapping, arson, gross abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence, having weapons while under disability and two counts of felonious assault.

Phone records, surveillance video and deoxyribonucleic acid evidence linked Crockett to the crimes. On August 26, 2025, he attended a pretrial hearing at the Cuyahoga County Justice Center in Cleveland.

John Lamar Armstrong

A warrant for aggravated murder was issued for Armstrong’s arrest after he was identified as being involved in the murder of Juvar Sr. In May 2025, the office of the Summit County, Ohio sheriff issued a warrant for Armstrong for the rape of a juvenile.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) of the U.S. Marshals Service led the fugitive investigation for Armstrong. The task force developed information that he had fled northeast Ohio. 

On the afternoon of August 25, 2025, members of the NOVFTF and the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) of the U.S. Marshals went to an address in the 3600 block of Delphos Avenue in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio to arrest Armstrong. When the officers tried to approach the residence, a round was fired from a firearm inside the residence and out the front door towards them.

Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) was activated. Ultimately, Armstrong was taken into custody and incarcerated in Dayton.
