Joanne Josephine Rhodes (姚祖恩) competed against 15 other Miss Universe Hong Kong 2024 candidates on September 26, 2024 at AXA Dreamland in New Territories, Hong Kong and won the title. Yan Kiu (周煒蕎) and Juliette Louie (雷莊𠒇) were the respective first and second runners-up.
Miss Universe Hong Kong 2025
On September 20, 2025, Rhodes will crown her successor at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. It is the second edition of the beauty pageant that selects the Miss Universe candidate of Hong Kong.
Miss Hong Kong represented the special administrative region of China in Miss Universe in 1952, in 1954, in 1960, in 1962, in 1964, in 1965, from 1967 to 1970 and from 1972 to 200. Miss Universe Hong Kong started in 2024 with Kimmy Low as the national director under Zetrix.
There are 15 women competing for the Miss Universe Hong Kong 2025 crown. If facial beauty is the only criterion, these will be my Top 5 candidates:

Representing the region in the international beauty pageant, Judy Dan (但茱迪) was third runner-up in 1952, Virginia June Lee (李慧珍) was second runner-up in 1954, Laura Arminda Da Costa Roque (羅娜) finished in the Top 15 in 1967, Mabel Hawkett (何秀汶) finished in the Top 15 in 1970, Rowena Lam (林良蕙) finished in the Top 12 in 1976 and Pauline Yeung (楊寶玲) was fourth runner-up in 1987.
On November 16, 2024, Rhodes represented Hong Kong at Miss Universe 2024 and competed against 124 other candidates at the Arena Ciudad de México (Arena CDMX) in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico. She was unplaced.
