15 Miss Universe Nepal 2025 candidates competing in Lalitpur

Sampada Ghimire (सम्पदा घिमिरे) was born and raised in Bhaktapur, Bagmati, Nepal. She is a social worker, a marketing manager, a holistic health and wellness coach, a a search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) specialist and a model.

On September 11, 2024, Ghimire competed against 21 other Miss Universe Nepal 2024 finalists at the Godavari Sunrise Convention Center in Godawari, Lalitpur, Bagmati. She won the title.

Runner-up to Ghimire was Smriti Singh of Lalitpur. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Akshita Chhetri of Kathmandu, Karren Eva Murray of Lalitpur and Sujal Bam of Doti.

Miss Universe Nepal 2025 contestants

On September 24, 2025, Ghimire will crown her successor at Royal Tulip Kathmandu in Lalitpur. It is the ninth edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Nepal’s Miss Universe candidate.

There are 15 women competing for the Miss Universe Nepal 2025 crown. Here are the candidates:

Currently, Nepal has two Miss Universe placements. The Asian country made its debut in the international beauty pageant in 2017.

Gopal Kakshapati was the national director of Miss Universe Nepal from 2017 to 2019. She was replaced by Nagma Shrestha in 2020 and Sangita Puri in 2024.

On December 17, 2018, Manita Devkota represented Nepal at Miss Universe 2018, competed against 93 other candidates at the Impact, Muang Thong Thani in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand and finished in the Top 10. On November 18, 2023, Jane Dipika Garrett represented Nepal at Miss Universe 2023, competed against 83 other candidates at the Gimnasio Nacional Jose Adolfo Pineda in San Salvador, El Salvador and finished in the Top 20.
