Emilia Dobreva is a Kosovar-Serbian entrepreneur, car racer, television presenter and model based in Nad Al, Sheba, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She is the first beauty queen to hold the Miss Universe UAE title.
Miss Universe UAE 2025
On September 8, 2024, Poppy Capella became the national director of Miss Universe UAE. Born in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia, she turned 33 on October 22, 2024.
On October 3, 2025, Dobreva’s successor will be crowned in Bali, Indonesia. It is the second edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Miss Universe candidate of the UAE.
In this edition, two additional titles will be given. Aside from Miss Universe UAE 2025, two other winners will be crowned Miss Global UAE 2025 and Miss Cosmo UAE 2025.

On October 19, 2024, Dobreva competed against 16 other Miss Universe UAE 2024 candidates in Dubai and won the title. Runner-up to Dobreva was Zulema Vazquez Rey and the respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Mamta Choudhary, Samin Savoji and Douaa Hamdan.
On November 16, 2024, Dobreva represented the UAE at Miss Universe 2024 and competed against 124 other candidates at the Arena Ciudad de México (Arena CDMX) in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico. She was unplaced.
Born in Pristina, Kosovo, Dobreva turned 28 on May 19, 2025. Before representing the UAE in Miss Universe, she represented Russia in Miss Union Baki, Siberia in Miss Model of the World, Serbia in Miss Friendship International and Kosovo in Miss Eco International, Miss Supertalent of the World and Miss Cosmopolitan World.
