Emilia Dobreva is the first beauty queen to represent the United Arab Emirates in Miss Universe. She is a Kosovar-Serbian entrepreneur, car racer, television presenter and model based in Nad Al, Sheba, Dubai, UAE.
Miss Universe UAE 2025 predictions
On September 8, 2024, Poppy Capella became the national director of Miss Universe UAE. On October 3, 2025, Dobreva’s successor will be crowned in Bali, Indonesia, which marks the second edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Miss Universe candidate of the UAE.
In this edition, two additional titles will be given. Aside from Miss Universe UAE 2025, two other winners will be crowned Miss Global UAE 2025 and Miss Cosmo UAE 2025.

On October 19, 2024, Dobreva competed against 16 other Miss Universe UAE 2024 candidates in Dubai and won the title. Runner-up to Dobreva was Zulema Vazquez Rey and the respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Mamta Choudhary, Samin Savoji and Douaa Hamdan.
On November 16, 2024, Dobreva represented the UAE at Miss Universe 2024 and competed against 124 other candidates at the Arena Ciudad de México (Arena CDMX) in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico. She was unplaced.
Born in Pristina, Kosovo, Dobreva turned 28 on May 19, 2025. Before representing the UAE in Miss Universe, she represented Russia in Miss Union Baki, Siberia in Miss Model of the World, Serbia in Miss Friendship International and Kosovo in Miss Eco International, Miss Supertalent of the World and Miss Cosmopolitan World.
