Tania Estrada Quezada was born in Vicente Guerrero, Guerrero, Chihuahua, Mexico and raised in Basuchil, Guerrero. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communication sciences from the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua (UACH) in Chihuahua City, Chihuahua State, Mexico.
On September 2, 2023, Estrada represented Chihuahua at Mexicana Universal 2023 and competed against 31 other candidates at the Centro de Convenciones y Exposiciones in Aguascalientes, Mexico. She ranked third and was crowned Mexicana Charm 2023.
On August 28, 2024, Estrada was appointed Miss Grand Mexico 2024. On November 20, 2024, she turned 29.
Mexicana Universal 2025 contestants
On September 4, 2025, Estrada will crown her successor at Hotel Holiday Inn Trade Center in Mexico City, Mexico. It is the seventh edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the country’s Miss Grand International, Miss International, Miss Charm and Reina Hispanoamericana candidates.

From 1952 to 1994, Señorita México sent Mexico’s representatives to Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss International. The country was represented in Miss Universe from 1995 to 2014 and from 2016 to 2017 by Nuestra Belleza Mexico, which was renamed Mexicana Universal in 2018.
