Micheal Colvin Barrow, 55, Johan Garcia, 41, and Liz Garcia, 37, were recently arrested. They are residents of Florida, United States.
Micheal Barrow
Born in Homestead, Florida, Barrow attended Homestead High School in Homestead and the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. He was a National Football League player from 1993 to 2005.
Barrow is married to Shelley Lynne Barrow. She turned 54 on March 2, 2025 and he turned 55 on April 19, 2025.
Micheal has four children namely Mikenzi Barrow, Kaleb Barrow, John Michael Barrow and Michael Barrow. On the evening of September 1, 2025, Micheal, Shelley and two of their sons went to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida.
Michael quarreled with one of his sons while they were on their way to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida. Once the family got to their terminal at around 9:00 p.m., the argument escalated and the father threatened to punch his son, who is a minor.
When Shelley intervened, she was accidentally struck in the face by Micheal. She was knocked to the ground.
Micheal also punched his minor son in the face with a closed fist. The older of the two brothers raced in and wrestled with his father.
On September 2, 2025, Micheal was arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree misdemeanor domestic touch or strike/battery. On September 3, 2025, he pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Johan Garcia
The Florida Highway Patrol is headquartered in Tallahassee, Florida. The city is around 485 miles away from Miami, Florida.
Johan is a Miami resident and a Florida Highway Patrol trooper. He is Liz’s husband and the stepfather of her daughter, who was born in 2009.
In January 2022, Johan allegedly started molesting his stepdaughter. When she complained about back pain, he would massage her back and fondle her buttocks and vagina under her clothing, according to her.
In 2024, Johan allegedly forced his stepdaughter to undress and molested her. According to her, he told her that she should not engage in sexual intercourse because she could become addicted to sex.
On September 3, 2025, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office arrested Johan and Liz in connection with the molestation of her daughter. The two suspects were booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami.
After Johan’s arrest, his employment with the Florida Highway Patrol was terminated. He and Liz were each charged with engaging in a sex act with a child.
