Nelson Rivera Valle, 37, of Los Angeles, California, United States is in jail. He is facing multiple charges related to sexual assault.

On September 2, 2025, a woman, 48, arranged to meet Valle at a motel in Orange County, California. Authorities did not release details about her identity and how she knew him.
In the evening, Valle met the woman at the motel. They had a verbal altercation during their meeting.
According to the woman, Valle physically and sexually assaulted her at the motel and left her with significant injuries. At around 7:45 a.m. on September 3, 2025, police officers in Santa Ana, Orange County responded to the area of Greenville Street and Warner Avenue in the city after the woman reported she had been kidnapped and raped.
On September 4, 2025, the Special Crimes Section of the Santa Ana Police Department found Valle at his residence in Los Angeles. He was arrested and booked into the Santa Ana Jail in Santa Ana.
Bail for Valle was set at $1,000,000. He was charged with assault with a deadly weapon along with multiple sexual assault-related offenses.
