Joanne Josephine Rhodes (姚祖恩) won Miss Universe Hong Kong 2024 at AXA Dreamland in New Territories, Hong Kong on September 26, 2024. She competed against 15 other candidates including Yan Kiu (周煒蕎) and Juliette Louie (雷莊𠒇), who were the respective first and second runners-up.

Miss Universe Hong Kong 2025 predictions

On September 20, 2025, Rhodes will crown her successor at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. It is the second edition of the beauty pageant that selects Hong Kong’s Miss Universe candidate.

Hong Kong was represented in Miss Universe by Miss Hong Kong in 1952, in 1954, in 1960, in 1962, in 1964, in 1965, from 1967 to 1970 and from 1972 to 200. Miss Universe Hong Kong started in 2024 with Kimmy Low as the national director.

There are 15 women competing for the Miss Universe Hong Kong 2025 title. I believe these five candidates will make it to the top:

On November 16, 2024, Rhodes represented Hong Kong at Miss Universe 2024 and competed against 124 other candidates at the Arena Ciudad de México (Arena CDMX) in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico. She was unplaced.

Currently, Hong Kong has six Miss Universe placements. Representing the region in the international beauty pageant, Judy Dan (但茱迪) was third runner-up in 1952, Virginia June Lee (李慧珍) was second runner-up in 1954, Laura Arminda Da Costa Roque (羅娜) finished in the Top 15 in 1967, Mabel Hawkett (何秀汶) finished in the Top 15 in 1970, Rowena Lam (林良蕙) finished in the Top 12 in 1976 and Pauline Yeung (楊寶玲) was fourth runner-up in 1987.
