  • At 5:00 p.m. on May 30, 2025, he picked up his daughters Paityn, Evelyn and Olivia from Whitney. He failed to return the girls to Whitney by 8:00 p.m. under a custodial arrangement. At 9:45 p.m., Whitney reported the girls missing.
  • At around 3:45 p.m. on June 2, 2025, Chelan County Sheriff’s Office deputies found his unoccupied 2017 GMC Sierra truck near the Rock Island Campground in Leavenworth, Chelan County. Shortly after, Paityn, Evelyn and Olivia were found dead in the vicinity. The Chelan County Superior Court issued a warrant for his arrest on charges of first-degree murder and kidnapping. 
  • On August 6, 2025, the Washington State Crime Lab reported that the DNA profiles found on the plastic bags covering each of his three daughter’s heads matched only him and his daughters.
  • At around 2:00 p.m. on September 18, 2025, members of the U.S. Border Patrol’s BORSTAR Human Remains Detection Canine team and the U.S. Marshals Service’s Special Operations Group team found clothing and skeletal remains believed to be that of him in a wooded area in Leavenworth.
