One of the deputies tried to perform life-saving measures including cardiopulmonary resuscitation on both children simultaneously until emergency medical services arrived.
Tiona told the deputies that she last saw Stevenson and Miyani alive at 10:00 a.m. that day inside the residence when she went to bed. The mother claimed that she had not seen her children again until she found them in the car.
