The reining Miss Universe Switzerland 2024 is Laura Bircher. Hailing from Stans, Nidwalden, Switzerland, she won the title on September 28, 2024 at the Kursaal Arena in Bern, Switzerland where she competed against 15 other candidates.
Runner-up to Bircher was Barbara Suter of Goldau, Switzerland. The second runner-up was Nadiya Karplyuk, a Ukrainian model based in Switzerland.
Miss Universe Switzerland 2025 predictions
On September 27, 2025, Bircher will go back to the Kursaal Arena in Bern to crown her successor. It is the sixth edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Switzerland’s Miss Universe candidate.

Currently, Switzerland has 12 Miss Universe placements including the second runner-up finish of Lauriane Gillieron in 2006 and the third runner-up finish of Lolita Morena in 1983. The most recent one was achieved by Dominique Rinderknecht, who finished in the Top 16 at Miss Universe 2013 at the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow, Russia on November 9, 2013.
On November 16, 2024, Bircher represented Switzerland at Miss Universe 2024 and competed against 124 other candidates at the Arena Ciudad de México (Arena CDMX) in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico. She was unplaced.
