Florence Gisselle Garcia of San Miguel, El Salvador won Miss Universe El Salvador 2024 at Teatro Presidente in San Salvador, El Salvador on September 7, 2024. She competed against 13 other candidates including Luciana Martínez of Santa Ana, El Salvador and Giselle Sandoval of Ahuachapán, El Salvador.
Runner-up to Garcia was Martínez. The second runner-up was Sandoval.
Miss Universe El Salvador 2025
On September 26, 2025, Garcia’s successor will be crowned at the Palacio Tecleño de la Cultura y las Artes in Santa Tecla, La Libertad, El Salvador. It is the second edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Miss Universe candidate of the country.
There are 14 women competing for the Miss Universe El Salvador 2025 crown. If facial beauty is the only criterion, these will be my Top 5 candidates:

El Salvador was represented in Miss Universe by Miss El Salvador from 1954 to 2003 and in 2023, Nuestra Belleza El Salvador from 2004 to 2016, Reinado de El Salvador from 2017 to 2022 and Miss Universe El Salvador in 2024. Magali Febles became the country’s Miss Universe national director in 2024.
Currently, El Salvador has five Miss Universe placements including the first runner-up finish of Maribel Arrieta Gálvez in 1955. The most recent one was achieved by Isabella Garcia Manzo, who finished in the Top 10 at Miss Universe 2023 at the Gimnacio Nacional Jose Adolfo Pineda in San Salvador on November 18, 2023.
On November 16, 2024, Florence represented El Salvador at Miss Universe 2024 and competed against 124 other candidates at the Arena Ciudad de México (Arena CDMX) in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico. She was unplaced.
