Loredana Violeta Salantă of Bistrita, Romania is an international voter of the Golden Globes. On September 25, 2024, she competed against 24 other Miss Universe Romania 2024 candidates at KONG in Bucharest, Romania and won the title.
Andreea Ioana Stan, Raisa Mitruti, Alexandra Miu and Antonia Iftime were the respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively. Stan was crowned Miss Supranational Romania 2025 and Iftime was crowned Miss Intercontinental Romania 2025.
Miss Universe Romania 2025
On May 25, 2025, Salanta turned 34. On October 2, 2025, she will crown her successor at OXYA Club in Bucharest, which marks the 12th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Miss Universe candidate of Romania.
Romania has yet to place in Miss Universe. The country was represented in the international beauty pageant by Miss Romania from 1991 to 1998 and by Miss Universe Romania from 2009 to 2013, in 2016, in 2017, from 2019 to 2021 and in 2024.

Gavrila Inoan held Romania’s Miss Universe franchise from 1991 to 1991. Mike Costache and Valentina Ionescu were the national directors of Miss Universe Romania from 2009 to 2013.
Ernest Hadrian Böhm has been the national director of Miss Universe Romania since 2024. He held the position in 2016, in 2017 and in 2019 and was replaced by Sorin Constantinescu from 2020 to 2021.
On November 16, 2024, Salanta represented Romania at Miss Universe 2024 and competed against 124 candidates at the Arena Ciudad de México (Arena CDMX) in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico. She was unplaced.
