Dean J. Dimon, 76, of Avon, Lorain County, Ohio, United States is a priest at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

Dimon is married to Daisy Dimon. They are both not affiliated to any political party.

Dean is John C. Dimon and Frances Michalos Dimon‘s son. Dean’s sister Marguerite Dimon Kartson was married to Gust Kartson.

John turned 84 on March 21, 1996 and died on January 11, 1997. On November 12, 2005, Gust died at age 58.

Frances turned 95 on August 3, 2011 and died on February 24, 2012. She was buried in Rocky River, Cuyahoga County.

On December 28, 2018, Dean registered to vote in Lorain County and on February 18, 2020, Daisy registered to vote in the same county.

Dean talked about celebrating Orthodox Easter in a Spectrum News article published on May 6, 2024. On December 31, 2024, he turned 76 and on July 17, 2025, Daisy turned 76.

Operation Next Door

The H.E.A.L. Task Force participated in Operation Next Door, a human trafficking operation in Ohio. The name of the task force stands for the Huron, Erie, Ashland and Lorain counties of the state.

More than 100 members of law enforcement in the state were involved in the operation. They arrested Dean and 102 other men, who allegedly sought to buy sex.

In particular, the H.E.A.L. Task Force arrested Dean, Benjamin Borlaug, 50, of Vermillion, Ohio and Antonial Marbuery, 30 of Cleveland and Benny Gonzalez, 29, of Lorain, Lorain County. Borlaug and Marbuery are accused of compelling prostitution while Dean and Gonzalez are accused of soliciting prostitution.

A case was filed against Dean in the municipal court of Avon, charging him with soliciting sex for hire. It was not his first offense for the same crime.

After posting a bond, Dean was released. He pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned on September 24, 2025.

The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Cleveland placed Dean on administrative leave after his arrest. On October 29, 2025, he will attend a pre-trial hearing.
