Valentina Andreevna Alekseeva was born in Cheboksary, Chuvashia, Russia to Andrey Alekseev and Olga Alekseeva. On October 5, 2024, Valentina represented Chuvashia at Miss Russia 2024, competed against 49 other candidates at Barvikha Luxury Village in Barvikha, Odintsovsky District, Moscow Oblast, Russia and won the title.
Runner-up to Valentina was Irina Mironova of Tolyatti, Samara Oblast, Russia. The second runner-up was Ulyana Evdokimova of Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Miss Russia 2025
On October 4, 2025, Valentina will go back to Barvikha Luxury Village to crown her successor. It is the 31st edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Russia’s Miss Universe candidate.
Russia was represented in Miss Universe by the winner of Miss Russia from 1994 to 2003, from 2007 to 2018 and from 2020 to 2024 and Miss Universe Russia from 2004 to 2006. The country did not participate in the competition in 2019.

Anastasia Belyak is the national director of Miss Russia. Currently, Russia has nine placements in Miss Universe including the coronation of Oxana Fedorova.
On May 29, 2002, Fedorova represented Russia at Miss Universe 2002, competed against 74 other candidates at the Coliseo Roberto Clemente in San Juan, Puerto Rico, United States and won the title. She was later dethroned and replaced by her runner-up Justine Pasek of Panama, who was officially crowned on September 24, 2002 in New York City, New York, USA.
On November 16, 2024, Valentina represented Russia at Miss Universe 2024 and competed against 124 other candidates at the Arena Ciudad de México (Arena CDMX) in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico. She finished in the Top 12.
