Djulieta Calalb is the first beauty queen to represent Moldova in Miss Universe. On September 29, 2024, she competed against 20 other Miss Universe Moldova 2024 candidates at the Digital Park in Chișinău, Moldova and won the title.

The first runner-up was Eva Papuc. She and Calalb are both from Chișinău.

Miss Universe Moldova 2025

Since 2024, Ernest Hadrian Böhm has been the national director of Miss Universe Moldova. He also holds the Miss Universe franchises of Hungary, the Maldives and Romania.

On October 5, 2025, Calalb will crown her successor at Premium Park in Chișinău. It is the second edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Miss Universe candidate of Moldova.

Djulieta Calalb 

On December 29, 2021, Calalb competed against 13 other Top Model Moldova 2021 candidates at Grand Élysée in Sîngera, Moldova and won the title. On July 8, 2022, she won Catwalk Top Model 2022 at Ambasad’Or Events in Otopeni, Ilfov County, Muntenia, Romania.

On May 8, 2023, Calalb competed against 23 other Miss Moldova 2023 candidates at the Radisson Blu Leogrand Hotel in Chisinau. She was runner-up to Diana Spotarenko.

On August 1, 2023, Calalb was appointed Miss International Moldova 2023. On October 26, 2023, she represented Moldova at Miss International 2023, competed against 69 other candidates at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan and was unplaced.

On November 16, 2024, Calalb represented Moldova at Miss Universe 2024 and competed against 124 other candidates at the Arena Ciudad de México (Arena CDMX) in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico. She was unplaced.
