The Fifth Judicial Circuit of Florida issued an warrant for the arrest of St. Pierre. Hernando County Sheriff’s Office investigators found out that he returned to Canada after fleeing the U.S.
The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office enlisted the help of the U.S. Marshals Service in finding St. Pierre. This resulted in a manhunt not only in Canada and the U.S. but also in France and Portugal in coordination with the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), which is based in Lyon, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France.
On October 2, 2025, French authorities arrested St. Pierre without incident in Bayonne, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France. He will be extradited to the U.S.
If convicted, St. Pierre will face a minimum mandatory sentence of 25 years in the penal system of Florida. Details about his alleged crimes in Hernando County have yet to be released.
