Christine Juliane “CJ” Hinkle Opiaza represented the Philippines at Miss Grand International 2024 at the MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand on October 25, 2024. She was runner-up to Rachel Gupta of India.
On May 28, 2025, Gupta gave up the title. Opiaza took over and was officially crowned on June 3, 2025 at the MGI Hall in Bangkok.
Miss Grand International 2025
On October 18, 2025, Opiaza will go back to the MGI Hall in Bangkok to crown her successor. It is the 13th edition of the international beauty pageant founded by Nawat Itsaragrisil.

Miss Grand International 2024
Including Gupta and Opiaza, 69 women competed for the Miss Grand International 2024 crown. Originally, Thae Su Nyein of Myanmar was second runner-up to Gupta while Safietou Kabengele of France and Talita Hartmann of Brazil were the respective third and fourth runners-up.
Maria Felix of the Dominican Republic, Nova Liana of Indonesia, Arlette Rujel of Peru, Susana Lucia Medina of Spain and Amy Viranya Berry of the United Kingdom finished in the Top 10 and were named the fifth runners-up. Maria Angelica Valero Aponte of Colombia, Akisha Albert of Curacao and Melisha Lin of Malaysia finished in the Top 20.
Hartmann, Berry, Medina and Felix became the first, second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively, after Gupta’s resignation and Opiaza’s coronation. Valero, Albert and Lin were promoted to fifth runners-up.
