Sharifa Mangatong Areef Mohammad Omar Akeel Mangudadatu is a Filipino beauty queen and model born to a Qatari-Iranian father and a Filipino mother in Lebak, Sultan Kudarat, Philippines. Mangudadatu and her husband Esmael “Toto” Mangudadatu have two daughters together.
BIOGRAPHY
A native of Maguindanao, Philippines, Sharifa’s mother was the personal maid of her late father in Qatar. Sharifa was raised by her maternal grandmother in Lebak.
After representing Sultan Kudarat in the 50th edition of Mutya ng Pilipinas, Sharifa represented the Philippines in the third edition of Miss Asia Pacific International. She is the first Muslim woman to win the latter.
Sharifa earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the Notre Dame of Salaman College in Lebak. After her reign as Miss Asia Pacific International 2018, she worked as a human relations officer at the congressional office of Sultan Kudarat.

- On September 16, 2018, she represented Sultan Kudarat at Mutya ng Pilipinas 2018 and competed against 49 other candidates at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. She won the main title, which was Mutya ng Pilipinas-Asia Pacific International 2018.
- On October 4, 2018, she represented the Philippines at Miss Asia Pacific International 2018 and competed against 50 other candidates at the New Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila in Pasay City. She won the title.
