Erickson is an American writer, actor, model and beauty queen originally from Gold Beach, Oregon, USA. She and Jarred-Michael Erickson have three children.

From Gold Beach, Carisa moved to Elmer City, Washington then to the Colville Indian Reservation, an Indian reservation in Washington. Her father moved in the reservation after his parents’ divorce.
