McIntyre is an American lifestyle and parenting influencer, model and beauty queen from San Joaquin, California, USA. She and Michael McIntyre have four children together, including their adopted son Matthew McIntyre.

Chantea grew up in San Bernardino, California and lived in other parts of the state including Clovis, Fresno and Visalia. She played basketball at California State University, Fresno in Fresno.

• In August 2015, she reentered California State University, Fresno.

• On August 11, 2021, she represented California at Ms. World America 2021 and competed against 55 other candidates in Miami, Florida, USA. She won the title.
• On August 25, 2022, she represented the U.S. at Ms. World International 2022, competed against 30 other candidates in Miami and won the title.
• On June 23, 2024, she represented the San Joaquin Valley at Miss California USA 2024 and competed against 85 other candidates at the Hyatt Regency Orange County in Garden Grove, California. She was runner-up to Samantha Ramos.
• On August 10, 2025, she represented the San Joaquin Valley at Miss California USA 2025 and competed against 87 other candidates at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas in Indian Wells, California. She finished in the Top 20.
