Victoria Kjær Theilvig of Denmark won Miss Universe 2024 at the Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico on November 16, 2024. The respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Chidimma Adetshina of Nigeria, Maria Fernanda Beltran of Mexico, Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand and Ileana Marquez of Venezuela.
Adetshina was also crowned Miss Universe Africa and Oceania 2024. The other continental queens were Miss Universe Asia 2024 Chelsea Manalo of the Philippines, Miss Universe Europe and Middle East 2024 Matilda Wirtavuori of Finland and Miss Universe Americas 2024 Tatiana Calmell of Peru.
Miss Universe 2025
On November 21, 2025, Theilvig will crown her successor at the Impact Arena in Muang Thong Thani, Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand, which marks the 74th edition of the international beauty pageant currently owned by JKN Global Group and Legacy Holding Group. Steve Byrne will host the coronation ceremony with R’Bonney Gabriel and Dayanara Torres as commentators.
Andrea Meza, Claude Makélélé, Dr. Chalida Thaochalee, Ismael Cala, Louie Heredia, Romero Britto, Saina Nehwal and Sharon Fonseca will serve as the judges. Jeff Satur will perform during the show, which will be broadcast by Roku, Telemundo, TV Azteca and USA Network.
A total of 120 women are in the running towards becoming Miss Universe 2025. If facial beauty is the only criterion, these will be my Top 13 candidates:
