Kevin Mruškovič represented Slovakia at Man of the Year 2024 and competed against 18 other candidates at the Thapae Gate in Chiang Mai, Thailand on November 17, 2024. He won the title.
Runner-up to Mruškovič was Arkos Beck of Thailand. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Jomar Luis Nuñez of Puerto Rico, Matheo Pontrucher of France and Adiya Dewa Pramayuda of Indonesia.

On November 21, 2025, Mruškovič will crown his successor at The Shivanna in Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia. It is the ninth edition of the international beauty pageant.

Based in Indonesia, Man of the Year was founded by Raymond Djambek. The inaugural edition of the international beauty pageant was won by Karan Singhdole of the Philippines on August 21, 2016.
Man of the Year was won by Parinya Yaochueang on August 20, 2017 and Phiratthapong Mooltribut and August 30, 2018. They are both from Thailand.
On September 22, 2019, Mooltribut crowned his successor Lee Ho Jin of South Korea. From 2020 to 2021, the competition went on hiatus amid the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
On August 21, 2022, Lee crowned his successor Dominik Chabr of the Czech Republic. On November 10, 2023, the latter crowned his successor Dereck Gimenes of Brazil.
