Methila is a Bangladeshi actor, model and beauty queen born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She was supposed to compete at Miss Supranational 2019 and Miss Universe 2020 but she withdrew from both competitions.

  • On December 6, 2018, she became the chief adviser of Rising Star Charity Bangladesh. 
  • On June 7, 2019, she represented Bangladesh at Face of Asia 2019 at the 2019 Asia Model Festival and competed against 74 other models in Seoul, South Korea. It was won by Ayu Maulida of Indonesia.
  • She was supposed to represent Bangladesh at Miss Supranational 2019 but she withdrew from the competition before the coronation ceremony at the International Congress Centre in Katowice, Poland on December 6, 2019.

2020s

  • On April 3, 2021, she competed against nine other Miss Universe Bangladesh 2020 finalists at the Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden in Dhaka and won the title.
  • She was supposed to represented Bangladesh at Miss Universe 2020 but she withdrew from the competition before the coronation ceremony at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Broward County, Florida, United States on May 16, 2021.
  • She played Husnaara in “Rohingya – People from Nowhere”, which was released on December 1, 2021.
  • In March 2022, she was one of the first Bangladeshi models to walk in the Paris Fashion Week in Paris, France.
  • On December 3, 2022, she was named the International Female Model of the Year at the British Bangladesh Fashion and Lifestyle Awards 2022 at The Tower Hotel in London, England.
  • On September 18, 2025, she was officially appointed and crowned Miss Universe Bangladesh 2025 at Aloki Green House at Tejgaon in Dhaka.
